Oils Ain’t Always Oils

100% pure essential oils should mean exactly that.
In aromatherapy there is no place for fragrant oils, aromatic oils, pot pouri oils,
or scented oils as are often sold in markets.
Sure they may smell nice but they offer no therapeutic benefits of any
sort.

Another way in which essential oils are often marketed cheaply is when
they have been diluted in a cheap carrier oil such as jojoba often at
only 3-5% strength which may be ok for massage but you try and
vaporize them in an oil burner, diffuser or vaporizer and you will
find that the carrier oil does not vaporize, then you are left with
the gunk to clean up.

The bottom line is to always read the labels carefully and don’t get carried away by the relatively low cost.

There are also varying qualities of oils and commercial grade is one of the cheapest and may be fine for soap or lotion/potion making but the best quality is always therapeutic grade!
The old adage that you get what you pay for is true to a certain point however we all know that some suppliers offer better value for money than others in offering the same oils.

At Bonvale Creations we offer only 100% pure essential oils that have
been extracted naturally by steam distillation or cold pressed.
We do not use oils that have been extracted by solvents of any kind as
residual amounts are always left in the oil and can make their way into the body…not good for anyone!
