Hypnosis works on the unencumbered mind exponentially more often than on that of a higher functioning, normal individual. Translation: bright people tend to not be receptive to hypnotherapy, stupid (lower IQ) people are. That’s the plainest, simplest way it can be said. Hypnotherapy is untraditional and the only way to know if it works for you is to try. Though I would never recommend it, some people will swear by the practice that help them quit smoking or lose 25 pounds. It’s easier than really working to get to the bottom of your problem. I suggest you seek out a psychologist or psychiatrist to help sort through the symptoms and give you some mechanisms to deal with them.
Contrary to what first poster wrote, hypnotherapy works better with smarter people as it simply gets you to use your mind properly ie when it isn’t encumbered by doubts & self-recrimination.
Unlike CBT, hypnotherapy also works with illogical parts of the brain (most of it) and so can actually change things that CBT considers unchangeable.
If you go to a good hypnotherapist you’ll get tremendous results. If you go to a bad one you’ll be put off for life.
Why pay for somthing you can learn yourself, with practice you can find inner peace and relaxation
Meditation can be very helpful ,innerspace run courses which r free, yes they talk about the spirit and your soul , let them give you the understanding of how meditation works, u can decide on the other stuff ,take it ,or leave it
best of all its FREE,AND IT WORKS

Hello
Hypnosis is very good at reducing, removing & getting to the root of the cause of anxiety depending on the methods used.
