Why might a doctor prescribe cryotheraphy,thermotheraphy or some other type of theraphy in addition to?

    If your asking why he/she would prescribe this? Cryotherapy is used to treat a number of diseases and disorders, especially skin conditions like warts, moles, skin tags and solar keratoses. Liquid nitrogen is usually used to freeze the tissues at the cellular level. The procedure is used often because of its efficacy and low rates of side effects.

    I think what was meant was why ice and heat with a sports injury like tendonitis or a sprain….

    they both help get rid of the ailment faster. electrotherapy is used sometimes also
