I have worked as an admin in a charity sector in the past and would like to know what medical terminology questions and admin experience that might be asked in an interview? Thank you.

How to spell Therapy would be a start ..

I would make sure you have a good understanding of occupational therapy just so that you can demonstrate a good general interest in the setting and environment you could be working in.

They will be more inclined to hear about your knowledge and experience of admin work – organisational skill, IT, listening skills, good telephone manner etc.

At the end of the day they are interviewing you for that role so i think as long as you have a good general interest in the department then you should be fine.

Research ‘Occupational Therapy’ incase they ask ‘what do you know about Occupational Therapy?’ Apart from that they should keep it to questions related to admin such as an example of when you worked as a team, example of when you were under pressure, example of computer packages used and what you feel your strengths and weaknesses are…good luck.
