?TaZ? asked:
What are the prices on these things? They don’t just post them blatantly, and I don’t want them to call me multiple times. If you have used these or any other programs, did you get good results? What did you like? Dislike?

Well im @ Curves and find that it has made a hell of a difference for me. You just have to eat right and exercise regularly it doesn’t matter what you do.
Can’t help with the others but i know weight watchers has it’s own website and the prices are on there.
i did curves for a while. it was $29/mo when i was a member, but understand the price shot up, maybe to $39-49/mo.
the machines are “female friendly” whatever that means. i personally didnt see the results i wanted, but i may have not been patient enough. I ended up doing the LA Weight Loss Program (not mentioned by you) about 2 years later. I think it was exactly what I needed because my problem is overeating. They teach you how to eat the right kinds of foods and this lets you eat more…good for me! They have different plans and prices. I ended up spending way too much!! Just don’t let yourself be suckered into buying their products, you can do it without the bars and vitamins. They make you think you will have better results with all the extras. Just substitute a snack where you’re allowed to have a bar. The bars are like 280 calories or something like that, so you can have something less convienient… If you resist all that stuff you only have to pay per pound you want to lose. They always have different promotions going.
Also i do recommend the cook book. Especially if you don’t do the bars. They give you really good ideas on how to use your food allowances wisely!
Hope it was somewhat helpful! Good Luck!
i hope you find it helpful!
I’m a lifetime member at weight watchers and lost 40 pounds.. kept it off for almost 2 years now.. I also go to Curves to help me maintain my weight loss and i’ve noticed a big difference! I know that Curves has a free 2 week trial that you could try it out before you commit to anything eating right and exercising is the key to weight loss and maintaining.. good luck to you!
With Weight Watchers, you can eat meals you prepare at home. Not sure what the cost is. With Nutrisystem, you get a month’s worth of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and deserts sent to your home . . . which is very convenient. You do, however, need to supplement the meals with fruits and vegetables. A months worth of NS meals costs as of this past December was about $300. They were going to raise their prices for 2008, but I’m not sure how much.
