    Extremely unlikely.

Fact is he, you, me, have probably been exposed to asbesos without knowing. It takes 20 yrs. to develop problems ie; cancer after being exposed. Don’t worry, there are worse things we are all around everyday that you don’t even know about.

NO, asbestosis takes a long period of exposure to begin to show signs. A one time occurrence won’t bother him. The ones who are ore at risk are mechanics, roofers who have been working for many years and insulation people.

Nope,.. and to Stephen? plumbers also, I lost my dad last year to asbestosis, it is terrible disease, but it does have to be regular contact.. but.. even though it takes 20 years to diagnose, contact can be anyone that lives in the household on a regular basis.. doing laundry etc.. your friend has nothing to worry about, but.. everyone over the age of 40 went to schools with asbestos in it.
