It’s been said that he does not want to relinquish his power. BBC World News America also did an interview with Mrs. Bush. She was quite vocal. Matt Frei asked Mrs. Bush if she was more vocal now that her husband wasn’t running for office.Mrs. Bush said no, she is just very passionate about women’s rights all over the world. With reporters on the ground, they told of the seemingly crushed rebellion and the fallen from that uprising.Darfur was front and center on BBC World News America tonight. They told of the shocking attack against 20 UN Peacekeepers.As reported by the BBC World News America there in Darfur, the soldiers didn’t stand a chance. Many countries are debating on whether to pull their soldiers out. BBC World News America said there were countries that were questioning whether or not the UN Peacekeepers were even allowed to have guns.There were stories on the BBC World News America tonight about Syria and their talk of reserving the right to retaliate against Israel for the Sept. missile strike. The BBC World News America reported on Blackwater, American Presidential candidates, and the meeting between North and South Korea. Also, Pakistan and who would be their next leader was discussed in depth.
