A Great Monitor for a Low PriceI was at Circuit City the other day, drooling over their widescreen monitors, and spotted the I-inc 25″ Widescreen LCD Monitor. I have not seen a computer monitor that big before, and was flabbergasted. My main TV right now is a 27 inch standard television.
(It is a on HD, non flat screen TV – you get the idea)The I-inc 25″ Widescreen LCD Monitor has an LCD/TFT full HD (1080p) screen. This is the monitor for serious media viewing.I checked out its key features and found that the I-inc 25″ Widescreen LCD Monitor has a resolution of 1920 x 1080. You can really get some real estate on this monitor. I got the guys at Circuit City to let me play with the monitor a bit. I wanted to put it through its paces. I asked them to put in a video game with a lot of action. They put in the Terminator Salvation game, and let me tell you it rocks on this screen. There is virtually no video blur or stutter on the I-inc 25″ Widescreen LCD Monitor. The picture resolution has great sharpness, and the contrast is crisp and clear.I listened to the audio on the I-inc 25″ Widescreen LCD Monitor, and as with most built in speakers on monitors, it was so-so.The color on the I-inc 25″ Widescreen LCD Monitor is spot on. Flesh tones looked normal, and blacks are very black.I played a DVD form the Sci-Fi Series “Battlestar Galactica on the I-inc 25″ Widescreen LCD Monitor I chose this particular DVD because having watched the show, I knew there was plenty of action sequences and space shots to give the monitor a real test.I was impressed watching the space battle scenes. They looked perfect on the I-inc 25″ Widescreen LCD Monitor. Some televisions I have watched tend to blur during action scenes. The I-inc 25″ Widescreen LCD Monitor will also function as a television monitor. All you have to do is plug it in with an HDMI or DVI cable to your satellite or cable box, select video mode and away you go. A 25 inch HDTV for under 200 bucks. The price for the I-inc 25″ Widescreen LCD Monitor is a rather inexpensive $189.99 at Circuit City. Frankly I would have expected to pay closer to $300.00 for a monitor of this size and resolution.
