The Lenovo ThinkVision L220x is a great monitor for business or personal use with plenty of great features, this monitor is a step above the previous Lenovo LCD Monitor I have reviewed.Ease of Use, Performance: 24/25, Look & Feel: 24/25, Features 22/25, How much I enjoy 23/25 Total:
93/100The Lenovo ThinkVision L220x is a great LCD widescreen monitor for general computer use, gaming and even image editing. The Lenovo L220x makes a great widescreen monitor for any type of computer user including movie watching and image editing using programs like Photoshop CS3. The Lenovo line of ThinkVision monitors includes some really great features that make these some fantastic monitors for many different uses. The monitors have some really fantastic stands that rotate, tilt, raise and lower in height that make them great for a variety of situations. The Lenovo line of ThinkVision monitors has a stand that includes a clip for locking the height adjustment at its lowest setting. You can remove the clip to adjust the height up and back down for easy adjustment that moves up and down smoothly on its large post. The monitor also tilts and swivels for better viewing including rotating for landscape viewing for special circumstances. In order to rotate the screen and use it in landscape or portrait viewing you need to adjust your monitor view in the performance settings of your computer monitors settings. Many companies programs such as ATI and NVidia control have this setting in their software so it is easy to use.Using the landscape mode of a monitor is nice for special situations like using Photoshop CS3 and image editing. The landscape mode allows you more room for the little menus and detached palettes for easy positioning outside the programs window for more efficient use.
