How low will ABC News sink before it is fair to start calling them Fox Lite? ABC’s overly hyped debate between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on
 April 16th was perhaps the most startling evidence that the belief that a liberal media bias is pervasive in mainstream American media is entirely misbegotten. ABC may well be just as conservative as Fox News, in fact. After all, this is the network that blamed the attacks of 9/11 on Bill Clinton instead of the man who went on 28 day long vacation after receiving a memo warning of exactly that kind of attack just a few weeks before. We knew Charlie Gibson was a backstabbing “All About Eve” kind of guy, but the debate proved once and for all that ABC should have stuck with Elizabeth Vargas as its nightly news anchor instead of a man who apparently has little idea about to how differentiate between authentic issues and gossip. What is even more startling is that George Stepha-whatever, who was a major player in Bill Clinton’s Presidency, now appears to be auditioning to take over for John Gibson at Fox. Apparently, Hillary Clinton isn’t alone in swinging to the Right.
