yes, by constructing a amnesia barrier which would require a profound state of hypnosis.
in some instances when a person goes so deep into hypnosis then spontaneous amnesia of proceedings under hypnosis can occur because of lost of awareness.
My husband cousins husband is a hypnosis he told us that if you saw something traumatic that you can get it replace with a good memory, That you well do nothing under hypnosis that you wouldn’t normal do.
He is well know and alot of hypnosis well do that all you have to do is call and ask.
