Dating Advice: Act Your Age, Not Your Shoe Size

Love does funny things to a person, don’t you agree? It’s important, though, to try and keep your feet on the ground when you think you’ve met somebody important or special. Lot’s of times, in the dating game, and many other places, people seem to forget that its important to stay
grounded and not to lose your integrity. “How old are you?” is a question I’m often asked by some of the girls I’ve dated. The truth is, how old I am doesn’t really matter in the big scheme of things. “Your only as old as you feel,” is something that is said a lot, and I think that this is pretty much true.Really, though, a question about age isn’t a nice question to ask, because its often very indiscreet, it generally shows that you’re not really paying attention to what’s being said. But if you want to ask, go ahead, I suppose. Sometimes you might get the truth, or sometimes you might get a funny, creative answer, who knows? So love can change us. It makes us act younger or even older than we are, and its important sometimes to remember where you stand. A strong relationship must be built on a strong foundation, and to do that, it’s good to keep a strong sense of self-identity that the other person can believe in. Are you a kid anymore? Probably not, nobody can stay young forever. Do you know more than the next person? There’s a chance, who knows? It’s kind of silly the way we, as a society, seem to refuse to grow up. Some people maybe feel kind of short changed when they grow up, and they yearn to still have a good time, but they often end up sad. It’s too bad that this happens, but it seems like there are things we can do to change it. If you really want to do something well, just try acting like the person you are, instead of something else. It’s a compliment to the listener, and will bring you a lot closer to finally gaining the traction in life that you have been looking for. Act your age, but don’t lose your interest in the things that are important. A balance of pragmatism is essential to anything that works well, especially in the dating game.

Apple Jumping into the Netbook Market?

What If Apple Made a NetbookThe buzz recently has been about if Apple should jump into the netbook market, that seems to be growing with computers form all the major computer companies these days. Some could actually argue that the Macbook air in
essence is a netbook due to its small size and easy mobility, and if that were the case, then Apple is actually responsible for the netbook. But it seems the term netbook has become much more then just portability. Netbooks now seems to mean portability and cheap, being a laptop less then $500.Steve Jobs when recently asked about if Apple would make a netbook to compete in the new market of computers he responded with saying that Apple didn’t know how to make a computer for less then $500 that wasn’t a piece of junk. But again rumors seem to be accumulating again that Apple is actually in the works of a netbook. So the real question is what determines a netbook. In essence netbooks are small portable device to travel with that can connect to the Internet, and you can use variuse software such as word to get things done. I think it is the consumers who added to the definition of a netbook that it had to be cheap. But netbooks being designed to be portable is actually why they are cheap. For instance being portable means small, and light wait which takes away a cd drive from most and limits them to small screens. Those are two factors that make most netbooks cheap. When Steve jobs stated Apple didn’t know how to make a computer for less then $500 that wasn’t a piece of junk, he was not out right saying Apple would not make a netbook, he may of actually been hinting that Apple woudl actually be making a superb netbook. Lets just remember what Apple did with the mp3 player (yes that’s what the used to be called), they didn’t create the first one, nor did they create a cheap one. What Apple did with the mp3 player was create a high quality one, which although expensive set the standard and eventually ate up the market share.

On the Go Broadband Internet Connection

It Will Probably Become the “in” Thing when it Comes to Broadband InternetNowadays, broadband is offered in prepaid and aside from that, you can be connected anytime anywhere using portable broadband connections. Well, I’m not sure about other countries or places but here in the Philippines, 2 of the leading broadband internet providers namely Globelines and
Smart offer on the go broadband internet connection. The dongle that is connected through USB will allow you to access high-speed internet connections anywhere using any PC with USB capabilities.Well, this is really convenient as you can use your broadband connection even when you’re at work, if you’re at school, and possibly anywhere with wireless internet signal. Plus, these are offered at the usual broadband speeds of up to 2mbps. It uses the same wireless broadband network and the only difference is the hardware. You just need to buy the USB modem that will allow your PC to receive internet signals. What’s the catch? That would be the price. Desktop wireless broadband connections are already expensive. Portable wireless broadband would be a lot more expensive. These services, however, are offered through prepaid service which means that you only pay for what you will or what you intend to use. That’s pretty convenient but for the internet savvy, you’d probably want a permanent connection much the like the ones found in homes.Since it’s prepaid, you can use it for emergency purposes especially if you need information on the spot. The USB modems are small and can fit in your pocket and they come in cool designs and colors as well. They cost around $45 or so and come in loaded with a few hours of free use. After using the free load, you need to buy more prepaid internet load to be able to use it again.
