While visiting my local Big Lots in search of snacks recently, I came across Crunchy Apple Crispy Granola Bars by Pampa®, a product of Uruguay. The packaging looked tempting as I saw a close up picture of this product. PriceEach pack contained 6 individually wrapped bars for just $1.00, which is a little over $0.16 per bar. I love the taste of fruity snack bars, particularly apple, as apple does not seem to be sweetened as much as cherry, blueberry or strawberry flavours
that I sometimes come across. I did not have very high expectations of Crunchy Apple Crispy Granola Bars by Pampa®, but at such a great price I could hardly turn it down, so I put it into my basket. TasteEven though the packaging mentioned that this was a crunchy granola bar, I still imagined that this snack would be like a chewy granola bar. I was not quite sure of what to expect until I tried Crunchy Apple Crispy Granola Bars by Pampa® for myself. I liked the crunchy texture. But what really struck me was the actual taste of apple. It was not the taste of imitation fruit, as is so often seen when so-called “fruit bars”. It tasted like genuine apple. The taste was good, but it was not so outstanding that I would stack my cupboards with this snack. Nutrition FactsEach bar contains 100 calories, 1g saturated fat, no cholesterol, 80mg sodium, 15g carbohydrate, 1g dietary fibre, 6g sugar, and 2g protein. Coco asked: I realize that God does not want us to “empty” our minds and be open to whatever, but if I have a therapist that i trust, isn’t this better than continuing with this addiction that I can’t seem to break? It has worked for so many people. I am a little confused. How [...]
